A Miracle

Is it strange that I believe in miracles? Do you think that I should not? Well I still believe. Do you know why? Because a miracle happened to me. I have been chosen to work as a volunteer at Our Cabana.

I was able to travel to a World Centre where nobody from my country had been to before. Still today as I am ready to leave I have no idea why it happened to me. What is sure, I spent the time of my life here. A time which I will always remember. A time which made me smile every day. A time which made me realize that I can be an important person. A time when I felt that I can create love and peace whilst working with other people. Now I have to go home it will be strange to feel that I do not have to work everyday to create activities, however I will really miss this place.

I will miss all the creative hours in the program office, the meals where I had to serve, the questions in the craft house, the trips to wonderful places, the time went by so quickly. I have never thought that I could spend such a long time away from home without feeling homesick. Strange but I do not want to go home. I am sure I will always remember the beautiful days spent here and as a Hungarian song says – I say goodbye but some moments from me will stay here forever.
