Our Cabaña Terms & Conditions  

  1. Booking confirmation
A booking exists upon receipt of completed registration form signed by the adult in charge of group together with a non-refundable or credited registration fee of $ 35.00USD per person.
 
  1. Deposit payment
A deposit of 50 % of room and board shall be paid no later than 6 months prior to the event dates and is non-refundable.
 
The 50% remaining shall be paid one month prior to the event dates and it is not refundable.
 
Payment can be sent by cheque or money order in US dollars or Sterling Pounds  payable to Nuestra Cabaña A.C. or sent by registered post.. An additional $ 10.00 USD is charged on all these payments (bank service charges). Payment may be made by direct bank transfer to the US bank account or the Sterling Pound bank account in London, with confirmation by email from participants.
An official numbered receipt as required by Mexican Law is sent on receipt of the deposit payment.
 
The participant’s event dates and name of adult in charge shall be quoted when paying the deposit.
 
  1. Accommodation(Room and Board) costs
The cost of accommodation at Our Cabana includes all meals (i.e.breakfast, lunch and dinner) for session participants and breakfast only for B&B guests. Accommodation costs are inclusive of VAT.
Costs for programme activities / other services rendered are not included in the price of accommodation at Our Cabana.  
 
  1. Amendments.
Our Cabaña should be notified of any changes to original booking.
 
  1. Cancellations/Changes  
If participants need to cancel/change reservations they must do so as soon as possible and preferably before the initial deposit is due.
Should one or more members of your group cancel within six (6) months of the session date the initial deposit is not refunded. Cancellation within one month of the event results in loss of all payments..
It is strongly recommended that your travel group purchase trip cancellation insurance.
 
  1. Full payment for program activities / other services
Full payment, for programme activities and other services is to be paid on arrival at Our Cabana.
 
  1. Alterations by Our Cabana
Our Cabaña reserves the right to cancel group registrations. Every effort would be made to place the cancelled groups in other sessions and if this is not possible, complete registration fees would be refunded.
 
  1. Damage
Our Cabana shall be entitled to recover the cost (estimated if not precisely known) of any deliberate damages.
 
  1. Personal property of participants and Limitation of liability.
Our Cabaña will not be liable for injury, damage or loss to person or property, however caused. 
 
  1. Refunds

No refunds will be made by Our Cabaña to a participant or guest on unused accommodation and meals, nor programme activities signed up for by a participant or guest but not participated in.

 

 
  1. Complaints by clients
In the event of a complaint by a participant or guest the matter should be discussed directly with the World Center Manager or Deputy World Centre Manager at Our Cabana. However, should the participant or guest believe that the matter was not dealt with adequately by the management of Our Cabana, then the participants and guests have the right to contact WAGGGS at the World Bureau in London in accordance with the World Centre Costumer Relations Policy within 28 days of the complaint.

  These Terms and Conditions are governed in all respects by Mexican and English Law.
