Our Cabaña: statement about security

There have been some reports of violence in Mexico and specifically in the Cuernavaca region where Our Cabana is located.  To date, these events have not affected us or any of our visitors in any way and we remain open, all planned events are taking place and we continue to welcome guests to the World Centre. 

We have always placed the highest priority on the health, safety, and security of all participants and guests to Our Cabana in Mexico.   Our programmes operate under the direction of professionals who have lived and worked for many years in Mexico.  We exercise great care in arranging safe transportation, lodging and food.  We are well acquainted with all communities we visit and take seriously any safety concerns.

We encourage visitors to check advice from their government and Member Organization regarding travel to Mexico and to Cuernavaca. We will keep visitors informed of any changes to the local circumstances, travel advice and the events at Our Cabana.
