Our Cabaña: statement about security- There have been some reports of violence in Mexico. These events have not affected us or any of our visitors in any way and we remain open, all planned events are taking place and we continue to welcome guests to the World Centre.

16 days to make girls heard: Day 1- Today is the start of the 16 days campaign to end violence against women. WAGGGS is calling on Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world to take part in a “16 days to make girls heard” campaign. This week WAGGGS has been making girls heard by speaking out on ending violence against girls at two high-level events, involving girls and young women as leaders in ending the violence pandemic.

New World Thinking Day 2012 materials now available- Each year on 22 February, Girl Guides and Girl Scouts all over the world celebrate World Thinking Day. It’s a day when Girl Guides and Girl Scouts think of each other and give thanks and appreciation for the international friendship they find in our Movement.
