Mexico is a land of contrast. It is a land of colour, sights, sounds, and smells. Mexico is appealing to everyone.

It is a country of over 82 million people, with one quarter of them living in the capital, Mexico City. It is a land of deserts, mountains, crashing waves, high plateaus and flat lands. There are breath taking canyons, abundant wildlife, and colourful flowers. It is a land of sunshine ... and rain. 

 Mexico’s history is as diverse as its landscape and offers a rich heritage for all to share. The pre-Columbian civilizations of the Olmecs, the Mayas, the Toltecs, and the Aztecs blend with the colonization by Spain in 1519 and subsequent independence in 1821 to form a culture that is uniquely Mexican.

Our Cabaña will start your exploration of this culture and open your eyes to the fascinating heritage that is Mexico today. Mexico is too vast to see in two or three weeks, but you will see enough to tempt you back for more.
