Our World Centre
Our Cabaña is one of the four world centres owned by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. Each centre offers a unique Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting experience, influenced by the culture of the country and the international composition of our staff members. These two influences blend at Our Cabaña to produce a program that is unique to Mexico, unique to Our Cabaña, and unique to the time of your visit.
The Chief’s door, through which all visitors pass, is only the start of the experience of being at Our Cabaña. Behind this impressive blue door are five acres of gardens,many buildings and special places where friendships can begin and flourish. Our Cabaña opened in July 1957 and since that date has welcomed over 70,000 Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from around the world.

I stayed here only a few weeks ago and it was amazing!! I was here from the 8th - 18th August and celebrated "100 years of Friendship" The staff are all so nice and I would definitley recommend visiting :D

I was at Our Cabana for the Butterfly session and had a nice time. The staff led by Vicky were very welcoming. I cherish every moment I at the centre best of all the feel of the Mexican food and the set up of the centre.

I had been to Our Cabana back in July of 2001 and it was absolutely amazing. It was definately a great experience for a 17 year old to witness. Although at times I grew to be homesick, I would not trade it for anything. I was able to be on a trip of a lifetime and I met some fabulous people.

Hey, I am from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and I just lived the wonderful experience staying on Our Cabaña. I went to the first Campamento para Girasoles (Sunflowers), they belong to the smallest category on our association (4-6 years old). I enjoyed this place and had a lot of fun as much as the Girasoles, our little girls, where they were free to play. Thank you to all the volunteers that attend this center, they all are wonderful and very friendly. I hope to return there soon.….Lots of Hugs….Rosy
